  • Dream it.

Every viable community must have access to fresh food and household staples. The vision for LCCF was to be the parent organization that steps up and forms the operating entity for the new grocery store.

The dream has become a reality with the formation of a subsidiary to the Foundation. Lane County Community Grocery, Inc., a registered C Corp. in the state, has been formed and will be operated and overseen by a seven-member Board of Directors.

  • Build it.

With the help of some community members who are building the store, Lane County Community Grocery, Inc. will lease the building. When the debt of the operation business are paid off, plans are in place for the Foundation to purchase the building.

All fundraising efforts and donations are going to the grocery store business to help offset the debt burden and costs for a new store.

The new store will be located at 326 E. Long St. next to the car wash, where the old Dart-In convenience store resided.
